Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations

Our neighbor enthusiastically recommended New Age Construction over 5 years ago. I can’t imagine a better way to choose a contractor than a glowing review from a trusted neighbor. My only disappointment is that other customers used all the words I wanted to express how happy we are! But here goes: we are thrilled, satisfied and very pleased with all the work that Chris and New Age have done for us. He designed and built two full bathrooms, new roof & vinyl siding, installed windows and basically rebuilt our 100 year old garage. Our latest project was a beautifully designed and built deck, railing and fence. My pictures are not great but the work is beautiful! It’s important to mention that any subcontractors Chris recommended were fully vetted, meticulous, respectful and reliable. Chris himself is a craftsman who takes pride in his work, not just a mechanic looking to finish a job quickly and cheaply. He listens and also offers suggestions based on his experience. We hired New Age (Chris) in 2014 to finish a large home renovation that was 14 months in and being neglected by the contractor we had originally hired. We solicited 3 estimates to compete the work. Chris wasn’t the cheapest but he listened intently and offered excellent suggestions and was recommended by a friend. We sure as hell got what we paid for! Quality materials, prefect craftsmanship , honesty, timeliness and cleanliness. More importantly, he wasn’t trying to squeeze our job into a handful of other jobs just to make money. He doesn’t try to juggle 20 jobs — he treats each job like it’s the only job. Chris completed our job within 2 weeks of when he estimated. He repaired mistakes that were left by the previous contractor. He took care in the materials and craftsmanship…quality as if it were his own home. Contractor hack-jobs are a dime a dozen on Long Island. I have watched several of our neighbors hire cheaper hack jobs and as a result, they are making significant costly repairs only a few years later. Since 2014, Chris is the only contractor we allow in our home. He has since renovated our garage and done a dozen or more smaller jobs around our home. He has referred us to excellent plumbers, masons, electricians and AC people. In short…we will not hire anyone but Chris or his trusted circle of experts to do work in our home

New Age Construction literally helped us to transform the entire outside of our house and kitchen. We hired Chris for the two separate major projects. Chris is meticulous in every aspect of the job. His work is impeccable and he stands behind it. He doesn’t disappear or disappoint. From a small job to a large job and anything in between, he handles it with a smile. Don’t know if there’s a better contractor around than New Age. I’ve owned my house for almost 40 years and have used numerous contractors and never had such a great experience. They were competitively priced, always showed up on time and the quality of work was excellent. Great people and great workmanship. I will use them the next time I need work done for sure.
